A little support.
A world of possibility.
The AAM Scholarship Program supports employees of AAM members and their families through five annual scholarship awards. Whether your next step is a university, community college, or technical school, we want to help you get there.
Each recipient receives $1,000, paid in two $500 installments upon proof of enrollment. Scholarships cover one year, and previous recipients are welcome to apply again.
Who can apply?
The program is available to employees of AAM members and their families. You must be one of the following:
- A full-time employee of an AAM member
- A child, grandchild, brother, or sister of a full-time employee of an AAM member
Neither part-time employees nor their children qualify. Part-time is defined as 25 hours per week or less.
Before you apply
To be considered for an award, applicants must:
- Be at least 16 years old on the application deadline.
- Have graduated from high school or its equivalent before July 1 of the year in which the scholarship will be used.
- Be entering or planning to enter a four-year college or university (undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate), a two-year community college, or a technical/trade school.
- Be in good scholastic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Submit an essay of no more than 500 words describing your background, interests, and scholarship need.
Preference is given to applicants who demonstrate strong attendance during secondary (high school) education.
